Expresión informal, un poco dramática. Se usa en historias o situaciones sorprendentes, especialmente cuando aparece alguien inesperadamente. También se puede usar para cosas, no solo personas. Similar a 'en carne y hueso'. A menudo aparece en exclamaciones.
