ऐसी हरकतें या व्यवहार जो पूरी तरह अस्वीकार्य हों या जो उचित सीमा के बाहर हों, उनके लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह एक औपचारिक और कुछ हद तक पुराना मुहावरा है, जो शॉकिंग या बहुत अपमानजनक व्यवहार के लिए प्रयोग होता है। आमतौर पर व्यवहार या कामों के लिए, चीज़ों के लिए नहीं। 'out of line' के मुकाबले ज्यादा सख्त। किसी सकारात्मक बात के लिए नहीं।
