Definition

কাউকে শাস্তি বা মৃত্যুদণ্ড হিসেবে তার মাথা কেটে ফেলা। সাধারণত ইতিহাস, আইন, বা খবরের প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'শিরচ্ছেদ' শব্দটি সাধারণত ইতিহাস, সংবাদ বা আইনসংক্রান্ত প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। আধুনিক দৈনন্দিন কথাবার্তায় ব্যবহার হয় না। 'heading' শব্দের সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
