Definition

직접적으로 말하지 않고, 하고 싶은 말을 돌려서 말하는 것을 의미한다. 주로 불편하거나 어려운 얘기에서 쓴다.

비격식적 상황에서 주로 쓰이며, 'get to the point'처럼 상대방에게 솔직하게 말하라고 할 때 자주 사용됨. 공식적인 글에서는 잘 쓰이지 않음.
