胸壁錣（しころ）

Definition

城や要塞の上部にあり、間隔をあけて造られた低い壁で、戦いで守るために使われるもの。

主に歴史や建築、ファンタジー作品で使われる語です。「castle」「fortress」「wall」と並んで使われることが多いです。単なる壁と違い、隙間があるのが特徴です。
