Definition

洗礼は、キリスト教で信仰に入ることを示すために水を使って行われる儀式です。また、比喩的に正式な始まりや導入という意味でも使われます。

主に宗教的または公式な場面で使われます。複数形は複数の儀式を表します。たまに比喩で使われることもありますが、通常は宗教儀式の意味です。
