表面に一つ以上の縞や帯状の模様があること。動物、岩、衣類などの模様に使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に模様を表すときに使い、「banded snake（縞模様のヘビ）」のように幅広い線やはっきりした帯を指すことが多い。「striped」とはややニュアンスが異なり、幅広や目立つ帯に使う。
