自分の好きな時に、自由に物事を行うこと。他人の許可や制限が必要ない状態です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にフォーマルや法的な場面、または特定の言い回し（例：'fire at will', 'come and go at will'）で使われます。日常会話ではあまり使いません。「willingly」とは意味が異なるので注意。
