Definition

একটি নির্দিষ্ট উদ্দেশ্যে গড়ে ওঠা কোনো গোষ্ঠী বা প্রতিষ্ঠান, অথবা কোনো কিছু মনে পড়লে মাথায় আসা চিন্তা বা সংযোগ।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Professional associations' মানে পেশাদার গোষ্ঠী। 'Word associations' মানে কোন শব্দ শুনলে যে ধারণা বা চিন্তা আসে। 'have associations with'—কোন কিছুর সাথে সংযোগ থাকা বোঝাতে। 'associates' (সহকর্মী) নয়।
