ऊपर की ओर बढ़ने की क्रिया, जैसे पहाड़ी चढ़ना, या किसी उच्च स्थान या स्तर तक पहुँचने की प्रक्रिया।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आम तौर पर औपचारिक या तकनीकी रूप में प्रयुक्त। शाब्दिक चढ़ाई (‘पहाड़ की चढ़ाई’) और रूपक (‘कंपनी में चढ़ाई’) दोनों के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। 'accent' (उच्चारण) से न मिलाएँ। प्रचलित संयोजन हैं: 'तेज़ चढ़ाई', 'खड़ी चढ़ाई'।
