যাদের অস্থিসন্ধিতে ব্যথা ও শক্তভাব দেখা যায়, অর্থাৎ যাদের আর্থ্রাইটিস হয়েছে, তাদের বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত।

'আর্থ্রাইটিক' সাধারণত বিশেষণ হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'আর্থ্রাইটিক হাঁটু'। চিকিৎসা এবং কথ্য ভাষায় প্রায়ই ব্যবহৃত হয়। চলাফেরার ক্ষেত্রেও ধীরতা বা শক্তভাব বোঝাতে পারে।
