くも膜は、脳や脊髄を覆う薄くてクモの巣のような膜のことです。主に医学や生物学で使われます。

主に「くも膜」（脳の膜）として医学・生物学で使われます。「クモのような」という意味ではほとんど使いません。「クモ形類（arachnid）」とは違います。
