正式申请某事的人，尤其是职位、学校名额或贷款。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

常用于正式场合，如“job applicant”（求职者）、“college applicant”（申请大学者）。不用在非正式请求场合。不要和“application”（申请表/过程）混淆。
