幻影幽霊

Definition

幻影や幽霊のような実体のない姿、特に幽霊や霊が突然現れることを指します。意外な出現という意味でも使われます。

通常は小説や怪談などのフォーマル・超自然的な場面で使います。普通の現実的な「現れ」には使いません。「ghostly apparitions」などお化けの話によく出ます。
