航海用語で「aport」とは、船の前方を向いたとき左側（ポート側）を指す言葉です。

船関連の専門用語で、陸や日常会話では使いません。命令や操舵で使われ、「astarboard（右舷）」が反対語です。

船長は「すぐに**左舷に**回せ！」と命じた。
