時代がある程度経ったことで価値が高くなった家具や美術品などの古い品物。美しさや歴史的な意味も評価される。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

名詞として使われることが多いですが、形容詞的にも使われます（例：'antique table'）。ただ古いだけでなく、特別な価値や収集的要素を持つものに使われます。「アンティークショップ」「アンティーク家具」などの組み合わせもよく使います。
