Definition

抗原は、体内で免疫反応を引き起こし、抗体の産生を促す物質（主にタンパク質）です。

「抗原」は主に医学や生物学、免疫学の分野で使われます。「ウイルス抗原」「血液抗原」「抗原検査」などの表現があります。「抗体」とは異なりますので注意しましょう。
