指導教員やアドバイザーから定期的に助言や指導を受ける学生などの人たちを指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に学術、教育、メンタリングの文脈で使われる言葉です。「advisor/advisee relationship」や「my advisees」といった形で使われることが多いです。一般的な会話ではあまり使いません。
