曲芸師は、サーカスなどでジャンプや宙返り、バランス芸など難しい動きをする人たちです。

「曲芸師」はサーカスの演者によく使いますが、体操やダンスで似た動きをする人にも使われることがあります。「サーカスの曲芸師」と表現できます。スポーツ選手の「体操選手」とは違います。
