Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa sobre todo en contextos formales u oficiales, especialmente respecto a votaciones o autocontrol (por ejemplo, 'abstenerse de alcohol'). Suele ir con 'from': 'abstaining from...'. No se usa para rechazos informales o preferencias.
