遵從規則、法律或決定，或接受某事並與之共處，即使你不喜歡它。

正式且較為過時，常用於法律或正式場合，尤其搭配 'by'（如 'abide by the rules'）。也有容忍的意思，常見於否定句（如 'can't abide'）。日常會話中很少用。
