एक ऐसी जगह जहाँ जानवरों को माँस के लिए मारा जाता है; इसे कसाईखाना भी कहा जाता है।

'Slaughterhouse' से अधिक औपचारिक या तकनीकी शब्द है, लेकिन अर्थ वही है। आमतौर पर औद्योगिक, कृषि या समाचार संदर्भों में उपयोग होता है। इसका प्रयोग मुर्गी या मछली के प्रसंस्करण स्थल के लिए नहीं होता।
