একটি বারান্দা হলো বাড়ির বাইরের দিকে ছাদবিশিষ্ট একটি খোলা জায়গা, যেখানে মানুষ বসে কিংবা বিশ্রাম নিতে পারে।

‘Veranda’ ইউরোপীয় এবং ভারতীয় ইংরেজিতে বেশি প্রচলিত; আমেরিকান ইংরেজিতে 'porch' বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি সাধারণত বাড়ির সামনের বা পাশের দীর্ঘ কাভার্ড এলাকা।
