محاولة إقناع شخص للقيام بشيء، وغالباً شيء لا ينبغي فعله أو قد يندم عليه.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

غالبًا ما يأتي بعدها مصدر الفعل (مثل "tempted into buying") وتستخدم مع خيارات سلبية أو محفوفة بالمخاطر. أكثر رسمية من "tempt" فقط. تدل على دفع شخص لفعل شيء، وليس الحركة الجسدية.
