যখন কিছু নিজের উপস্থিতি বা অবস্থা থেকেই সমস্ত কিছু প্রকাশ করে, তখন কোনো বাড়তি ব্যাখ্যার দরকার হয় না।

বলা হয় যখন কোনো প্রমাণ বা পরিস্থিতি দেখলেই বিষয়টি পরিষ্কার বোঝা যায়। 'The facts speak for themselves' বা 'speak for itself'–এর মতো।
