Usado para misturar fisicamente ('stirred the soup') e para sentimentos ('stirred emotions'). Muito comum na voz passiva ('was stirred'). Não confunda com 'shaken' (sacudido) ou 'mixed' (misturado); 'stirred' sugere movimento suave/circular. Pode expressar causar emoção ou polêmica.
