যখন কেউ নিয়ম, শৃঙ্খলা বা কর্তৃপক্ষের কথা অমান্য করে কিছু করে।

সাধারণত সতর্কতা বা নিয়ম মানা প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'if you step out of line' মানে 'তুমি নিয়ম ভাঙলে'। স্কুল বা অফিসে প্রায়ই শোনা যায়।
