数を自分自身で掛けた（二乗した）こと、または四角い形のものを指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に数学で使われる（例：3の二乗）。四角い形にも使う。'cubed'（三乗）と間違えないこと。'squared away'（スラング）は整理整頓済みという意味。
