"spring to attention" in Spanish
Definition
Ponerse de pie o erguirse de inmediato y de forma atenta, especialmente como respuesta a una orden o sorpresa. Se usa mucho en el ámbito militar, pero también para mostrar estar listo o alerta rápidamente.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa mucho en lo militar (“spring to attention” tras una orden), pero también en sentido figurado para mostrar reacción rápida. No confundir con solo “stand up” o “pay attention”.
