বিভিন্ন দিকে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে এবং বড় এলাকা ঢাকে, বা মানুষের মধ্যে বাড়ে। এছাড়াও, কোনো কিছুর উপর স্তর লাগানো বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

"Spreads" হল "spread"-এর তৃতীয় পুরুষ একবচন রূপ। খবর, রোগ, আগুন, মাখন বা গুজব-এর সাথে ব্যবহৃত হয়। "spreads quickly" বা "spreads like wildfire"-এর সাথে বেশি চলে। এটি "spread" (নাম) এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না (যেমন খাবারের পরিবেশন)।
