Definition

অনুমান হল যখন আপনি সমস্ত তথ্য না জেনে কিছু নিয়ে ধারনা করেন। এটি অর্থ বিনিয়োগ করে মুনাফা পাওয়ার চেষ্টার ক্ষেত্রেও ব্যবহৃত হয়, বিশেষত স্টক বা সম্পত্তিতে।

'Speculation' সাধারণত অফিসিয়াল ও ফরমাল, সংবাদ, অর্থনীতি বা অ্যাকাডেমিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'wild speculation', 'financial speculation', 'pure speculation' - এসবের সাথে ঘন ঘন ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি 'rumor' (গুজব) থেকে আলাদা, যা সাধারণত সত্যতা যাচাই হয়নি এমন তথ্য বোঝায়।
