Definition

একেবারে পুরোপুরি ভিজে যাওয়া, বিশেষত বৃষ্টিতে, যাতে জামাকাপড় ও শরীর পুরোটাই ভিজে যায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

গবেষণামূলক এবং কথ্যভাবে ব্যবহৃত। সাধারণত বৃষ্টি বা পানিতে পড়ে যাওয়ার পরে ব্যবহার হয়। 'soaked through' বা 'drenched'-এর সঙ্গে আদলমিল। সাধারণত মানুষের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়, বস্তুতে নয়।
