Trabalhar muito pesado por um longo tempo, especialmente em algo difícil ou entediante. Também pode significar uma tarefa ou jornada longa e cansativa.

Informal; usado tanto para esforço físico como mental prolongado. Expressões comuns: 'a real slog', 'slog through'. Diferente de 'struggle' (mais foco na duração). Geralmente sobre esforço exaustivo e contínuo.
