বিশেষত হাতে লেখা জিনিসের জন্য ব্যবহার হয়; যেমন 'scrawled a note' মানে তাড়াহুড়ো করে খাতা বা কাগজে কিছু লেখা। প্রিন্ট বা টাইপড লেখার জন্য নয়।
