Definition
Platos pequeños y poco profundos que normalmente se colocan debajo de una taza para atrapar gotas y proteger la mesa. A veces también se usan para pequeños bocadillos o para sostener objetos pequeños.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Plural de 'platillo'. Se usa principalmente para tazas de té o café. No es lo mismo que 'plato' (más grande) o 'fuente' (más profundo). 'Flying saucer' significa 'OVNI' en otro contexto.
