数値を、元の値以下の最も近い整数や指定した値に切り捨てること。

数学やお金などでよく使います。「round up（切り上げる）」と逆の意味。「round off（四捨五入）」とは違うので注意してください。

Examples

If the price is $4.75, you can round down to $4.

値段が$4.75なら、$4に**切り捨てる**ことができます。
