Colher uma plantação, ou no sentido figurado, receber os resultados ou consequências das próprias ações. Muito usada na expressão 'reap what you sow' (colhe-se o que se planta).

Usado majoritariamente no sentido figurado no inglês moderno. Combinações comuns: 'reap the benefits,' 'reap the rewards,' 'reap what you sow.' É mais formal/literário que 'get' ou 'receive.' O sentido literal de colheita é menos comum na fala do dia a dia.
