Bir şeyin içine hızla ve aniden hareket etmek ya da düşmek; genellikle suya ya da yeni bir duruma. Ani düşüşleri de ifade edebilir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle suya atlama, finans ya da ani değişimler için kullanılır. 'plunges into the pool' suya atlamak, 'the stock market plunges' piyasanın ani düşüşüdür. 'dives' (daha kontrollü) ve 'drops' (daha az dramatik) ile karıştırmamalı.
