Definition

公園や自然の中でみんなと一緒に外で食事を楽しむ活動のことです。「ピクニックをする」という行動を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

進行形「ピクニックをしている」のように、行動そのものを強調します。'ピクニックへ行く'や'ピクニックを楽しむ'などによく使います。名詞としては使いません。その場合は「ピクニック」と言います。
