物事を段階ごとに導入したり、計画的に一つの段階から次の段階へ移行すること。主にプロジェクトやビジネス、政策変更で使われます。

ビジネスやエンジニアリング、計画の分野で使われるフォーマルな表現です。「phasing in」は段階的導入、「phasing out」は段階的廃止という意味で使われます。日常会話ではあまり用いません。
