공동 목적이나 비용을 위해, 또는 비용의 일부를 다른 사람들과 함께 부담하기 위해 돈을 내는 것.

주로 비공식적이고, 공동 비용(예: 'pay towards 월세')을 분담할 때 쓴다. 전체가 아닌 일부만 내는 것이다.
