Se usa para decir que alguien está actuando de manera loca, muy poco razonable o sin pensar claramente.

Es informal y suele expresar sorpresa, molestia o broma. Se escucha en frases como '¿Estás fuera de tu mente?' y no se refiere a enfermedad mental real, sino a actuar de forma impensada o absurda.
