誰かや動物が獲物やチャンスを求めて秘密裏に積極的に動き回っている状態を指す表現。特に恋愛や何かを狙う場合によく使われる。

主にカジュアルな会話や恋愛の場面で使われます。「彼はデートを狙って徘徊している」など、ひそかに機会をうかがうニュアンスがあります。動物の場合は本来の意味で使います。
