「興味深い」や「関心のある」とは、重要だったり注目に値することを意味します。主に公式や学術的な場面で使われます。

レポートや論文など公式な場面で使われ、日常会話では用いません。「of interest to...」の形も多い。“興味がある” (興味を持っている感情) とは異なります。
