유모보모 (옛 표현)

Definition

주로 과거의 부유한 집안에서 다른 사람의 아기나 어린아이를 돌봐주던 여성에게 사용하던 용어입니다. 현대에는 거의 쓰이지 않고, 역사나 문학에서 볼 수 있습니다.

'유모', '보모'라는 표현은 주로 옛날 이야기나 시대극에서 쓰입니다. 요즘에는 '베이비시터', '보육 교사'와 구분됩니다.

The rich family hired two nursemaids for their children.

부유한 가족은 아이들을 위해 두 명의 **유모**를 고용했다.
