‘Nils’ শব্দটি একটি পুরনো বা ব্রিটিশ উপায়ে ‘শূন্য’ অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়, বিশেষ করে খেলার স্কোর বোঝাতে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
‘Nils’ সাধারণত কেবল ব্রিটিশ খেলাধুলার স্কোরে ব্যবহৃত হয়; আমেরিকান ইংরেজিতে ‘zero’ ব্যবহৃত হয়। অর্থাৎ ‘two-nil’ বোঝায় ২-০ স্কোর।
