「巢穴」是鳥類和某些動物為了產卵及養育小動物而築造的地方，也可以指某人或某物的溫暖安全之處。

常用於描述動物（尤其是鳥）的棲息地，有時也指溫暖或安全的地方。常見用法有「鳥巢」、「築巢」、「空巢」（孩子長大離家）。請勿和「網」（net）混淆。
