Uma pessoa que mora perto ou ao lado de você, normalmente no mesmo prédio ou na mesma rua.

Serve para masculino e feminino (vizinho/vizinha). Comum dizer 'vizinho do lado', 'bom vizinho'. No inglês americano, escreve-se 'neighbor'. Pode ser usado de forma figurada: 'país vizinho'.
