বেশি আনুষ্ঠানিক বা সাহিত্যিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'a multitude of options', 'multitude of people' ধরনের বাক্যাংশে সচরাচর দেখা যায়। স্পষ্ট ছোট সংখ্যার জন্য না ব্যবহার করাই ভালো।
