粘膜

Definition

粘膜は鼻、口、肺、胃などの内側にある湿った膜で、これらの部分を保護し、湿らせる役割があります。

「粘膜」は医学用語で、日常会話ではあまり使われません。特定の部位と一緒に「胃の粘膜」「口腔粘膜」などと言うことが多いです。「粘液」（mucus）と混同しないように注意しましょう。
